The Danish Demining Group (DDG) has provided USD 1,3 million for the second phase of a search for unexploded devices in the central Quang Nam province.

More than 15 million metric tonnes of explosives were dropped on Vietnam during the Vietnam war making it one of the most contaminated countries in the world, and that is what the non-governmental Danish organisation is willing to help with.

The project is scheduled to run from 1 September 2016 to 31 December 2018.
