Finnish indoor air solutions company Halton Group has appointed two new Executive Vice Presidents as part of its global growth strategy.

Sami Piirainen will lead Halton Foodservice, the company’s largest business unit, after more than 20 years with the group. He succeeds Georges Gaspar, who passed away earlier this year. Shuresh Maran has been appointed Executive Vice President of Marine, Energy and Infrastructure, having previously served as Global Sales Director.

Halton, founded in Finland in 1969, began its Asia operations in Malaysia in 1996, where it still operates a factory and sales office in Selangor. The group employs about 2,000 people in more than 35 countries and reported revenues of 316 million euros in 2024.
