Strong tourism cooperation between Beijing and Copenhagen

Copenhagen Mayor Frank Jensen and Beijing Executive Vice Mayor Li Shixiang on Wednesday 19 June 2013 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on strengthening tourism cooperation between the two capital cities. Under the MoU, the two cities will strengthen the exchanges of expert visits, mutual studies and research of tourism, and engage in information sharing in statistics, destination marketing and travel products promotion. Both sides will also enhance dialogue and cooperation in the legislation and regulation of tourism activities. Norwegian marine experts look to China

The Norwegian shipping classification society Det Norsk Veritas announced it has set up a panel of marine engineering experts in China as a way to tap into the country’s boom in marine equipment design and manufacturing. The current leading members on the panel are marine engineering experts from Dubai, Hustonand Singapore, DNV said.
