Swedish fashion giant H&M is progressing faster than expected on its 2025 sustainability goals, according to a recent update from the company.
The group has already achieved 85% usage of recycled or sustainably sourced materials across its product range and is on track to reach 100% by next year. H&M also reported significant strides in reducing greenhouse gas emissions in its own operations and supply chain.
According to Fibre2Fashion, the company credits collaborations with suppliers and innovations in textile recycling as key drivers behind its progress.
The update forms part of H&M’s broader vision to become fully climate positive by 2040.
