Danish engineering company Eltronic PtX has teamed up with Thailand’s Bonicorn and Estonia-based energy firm Elcogen, to introduce new clean energy solutions in Thailand.

The partnership was announced at an event in Bangkok back on 23 March. The companies plan to develop systems that can produce electricity and hydrogen in a cleaner way than traditional power sources.

Eltronic PtX builds and integrates energy systems used in industry, while Elcogen develops the core fuel cell technology that converts fuel into electricity with low emissions. Together with Bonicorn, they aim to bring these solutions into the Thai market.

The technology can supply cleaner energy to factories and data centres, which use large amounts of power. It can also produce hydrogen, seen as a future fuel for industry and transport.

The companies plan to expand the use of this technology in Thailand and across Southeast Asia as demand for sustainable energy grows.
