More Danes, Finns and Norwegians expected to visit Indonesia

Rita Sofia, head of tourism promotion affairs for West and East European countries at the Office of State Minister of Culture and Tourism in Indonesia, told The Jakarta Post that the government expected over million tourists from European countries including Nordic countries to visit Indonesia this year.
     According to Rita Sofia, more Nordic citizen were expected due to Danish, Finnish and Norwegian tourists being eligible for the new 25$ visa-on-arrival regulation in Indonesia introduced last year.
     Owing to the Internationale Tourismo Borse (ITB), the world’s biggest tourism event, held from 11th –15th March in Berlin, many contracts were signed by Indonesian companies encouraged Indonesia to view themself be more attractive for European tourists.
