The Delegation of the European Commission to the Philippines in collaboration with Shang Cineplex co-host the European film festival “Cine Europa 8” between 22 Septemer-2 October, at the Shang Cineplex in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila.
Swedish dramatic film “Trolösa” (Faithless) is about three adults caught in a love triangle and the resulting devastating consequences.
Trolösa is written by the famous Swedish director Ingmar Bergman Directed by Liv Ullmann. Starring Lena Endre and Erland Josephson.
Finland film “Koirankynnen leikkaaja” (Dog Nail Clipper) is about Mertsi, an idealist, who even went to war as a volunteer and returned disabled. His overwhelming idealism transforms itself into a small act – that of clipping a dog’s nails – and becomes an obsession, and in the end – fails.
Koirankynnen leikkaaja was directed by Markku Pölönen.
