Tan Sri Dato’ Børge Bek-Nielsen lived in Malaysia for more than 50 years devoting most of his professional life to United Plantations Berhad in Malaysia. In 1982 he established United International Enterprises Limited of which he was chairman of the board till June this year.
In recognition of his contribution to the palm oil industry, he was awarded the most prestigious civilian title in Malaysia, the Tan Sri in 1996.
