Nordic Countries Considering Energy Possibilities in Philippines

Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway were reported on the website oilvoice.com, 24 September, that they are considering to investing in the Philippines’ renewable energy.
         The country’s emphasis on the development of renewable energy resources has attracted interest among Nordic companies to look for business opportunities. 
         Norwegian hydropower company SN Power is looking at the Philippines as one of the merging markets on hydroelectric power development. 
         Shall Solar Philippines, Inc. is now implementing a solar home system project with the PNOC. It entails the installation of 15,000 solar home systems in off-grid locations. 
         Finnish business is also willing to come to the Philippines to see opportunities in the energy market.
