Swedes, Australians Help Laos To Develop Education

The project, which is expected to last for two years, will help provide training skills for young Lao people in the areas of sewing and handicrafts, carpentry, motor mechanics and equipment and appliance mechanics. It will give local children and teenagers a comfortable and well-equipped place for studying.
The Erickjalpen Organization has provided aid worth more than USD99,000  for the primary school development project in Khamkeuth district, Bolikhamxay province.
Meanwhile, The Lao Youth Union and Oxfam Australia signed two memorandums of understanding (MOU) on May 9 to provide A vocational training skill program for rural young people in Vientiane and Saravane provinces.
