The Deputy Prime Minister of Denmark Bendt Bendtsen along with the delegation attended an inauguration of new concrete pipe factory of Song Day Construction Materials Joint Stock Company in Vietnam.
“It is indeed encouraging to see that the cooperation at government level is now followed by commercial cooperation between two private companies,” Mr. Bendtsen noted which reflecting upon many years of Danish development aid to Vietnam.
The factory is equipped with the most advanced technology from the Danish company Pedershaab Concrete Technologies A/S, and is a brilliant example of how Danish technological know-how and Vietnamese production capacity can be combined.
Furthermore, he stressed how Danish companies can play a key role in the upgrading of the Vietnamese infrastructure, which is needed to maintain growth.
Shortly after the arrival of Mr. Bendtsen, a Vietnamese music group made a performance wearing colorful, traditional Vietnamese clothes before Song Day’s Chairman of the Board, Mr. Dung, initiated the series of speeches given by Chairman of the Ha Tay province Cuong, the Danish Deputy Prime Minister Bendtsen and Managing Director of Pedershaab Bent K. Holme.
