Nokia Supports Tsunami Youth Victims

The new initiatives launched by Nokia is to help young people in Indonesia with limited education who have been affected by the Tsunami, will be able to train and create new skills to help them with finding jobs or setting up small businesses, building long-term livelihoods for themselves and their families. The project also goes out to Thailand, India and Sri Lanka.
Nokia provided immediate disaster relief aid and funding to Indonesia in the area affected by the Tsunami in December 2004 by donating EUR 2.5 million for longer-term recovery to help young people rebuild their lives. The project will activate throughout 2007.
In corporation with the International Youth Foundation and the Grameen Foundation, this project will helps thousand of young people and their communities which specially developed to meet the needs of each country.
