An Oslo court on June 29, 2007 sentenced a Norwegian man to seven years in prison for sexually assaulting six Thai children aged around 11 to 15 in 2004 and 2005.
The 48-year-old man, whose name was not disclosed, was also found guilty of human trafficking for “selling” one of the children to another pedophile and of spreading pornographic pictures and videos of the children on the Internet.
Norwegian and Thai police were only able to identify one of the victims, but the court ordered the man to pay damages of 60,000 kroner ($10,165) to that victim.
