Nokia Lead The List of Thailand’s Top Brands

Finnish Mobile-phone Nokia besides Mama Noodles and Sony lead the list of the top 10 brands in Thailand, according to a survey by Media magazine on August 28, 2007.
The survey, prepared by the consultancy Asian integrated Media and Synovate, the market research company ranked 7-Eleven fourth, followed by Honda, Pepsi and Thai Airways. Ranked seventh was Breeze, followed by Singha and Samsung.
The mobile-giant phone Nokia and the Japanese electronics firm Sony also held the top of two spots in the Asian Top 1,000 brands ranking, with third going to Colgate, followed by Coca-Cola, Panasonic, Honda and 7-Eleven. Closing the top 10 for Asia were Samsung, Nestle and Adidas.
The survey interviewed people aged between 15-64 years in China, Hong kong, Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, India and Indonesia about the top brands in 12 major product and service categories.
