Bai Bang Paper Mill – One of Sweden-Vietnam Friendship Icons to be Celebrated

Bai Bang Paper Mill’s Traditional Day will be held on November 26, 2007, a special event for all those who involved in the construction of the Mill.
Vinh Phuc Pulp and Paper Integrated Mill, commonly known as Bai Bang Paper Mill was built with the financial support from  Sweden back in the 1980s and was put into operation on November 26, 1982. Under the trade mark “Bai Bang Paper”, the Mill has been producing a huge amount of printing and writing paper, meeting the demands of not only domestic market but also the regional and world ones. Its current successes are believed to stem from the fruitful development cooperation between Sweden and Vietnam as well as the great and effective contributions from Vietnamese people and foreign specialists, especially the Swedish.
The Bai Bang Paper Mill is now working under the trade name Vietnam Paper Corporation (VINAPACO), but its products remain famous among the users at home and abroad.
On the occasion of the Mill’s 25th birthday, Bai Bang Paper’s Traditional Day will be organised on November 26, 2007 at the Mill’s site in Phong Chau town, Phu Ninh district, Phu Tho Province of Vietnam. All foreign specialists, engineers and technicians, who were involved in the construction of the Mill are invited to this event by VINAPACO. This is also a special opportunity for foreign and Vietnamese papermakers to meet and exchange information on the latest operation of the Mill.
