The 26-year old Norwegian has told Thai media that he and a Norwegian friend partied in their room before the accident. This was the night to Tuesday January 20, 2009.
Apparently the 26-year old stood on the balcony, when he lost his balance and fell. He first hit a roof and fell through this before he hit the ground.
At 8 am in the morning the local police were informed there had been a fall and feared the worst, when they went to the scene of the accident.
The Norwegian was, however, conscious when he was found. He was brought to the local hospital, where he was treated for smaller injuries. After one night at the hospital the man was released and could return to his hotel.
According to Thai media the man will now continue his vacation, before going back to Norway by the end of the month.
