Atheistic Swedes and Religious Indonesians

Most Swedes does not think that religious matters have any effect on their daily life, According to a survey made by Gallup Sweden ranks number two on the list of least religious countries in the world. Only 17 percent of the population states, that religion play a significant role for them, and only Estonia has a more secular mindset than that.

But in Indonesia things are completely reverse. Almost all of the entire Indonesian population – 98 percent to be exact – thinks that the religion is of vital importance for their life. This makes the Southeast Asian country the fourth most religious country in the world only surpassed by Egypt, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
