Students at Singapore Management University is planning for a Business Study Mission to Scandinavia to provide students with the opportunity to learn firsthand about Scandinavian business culture and socio-political environment.
Through case studies, student projects and guest lectures, the BSM will facilitate student learning of real-life challenges that impact businesses, such as IKEA and LEGO, in Scandinavia. The course culminates in a 12-day trip to Denmark, Sweden, and Norway in May 2009 where students interact with representatives of a variety of companies to gain a better understanding of Scandinavian corporate culture, sustainability Scandinavian-style, as well as gain a better understanding of the Scandinavian people and their way of life.
