Scandinavian Embassies in Jakarta to Reopen Tuesday

The Scandinavian embassies in Indonesia, which were closed due to the terrorist attack on Marriot Hotel and Hotel Ritz-Carlton, will reopen on Tuesday, as Monday is an official Indonesian holiday.
The Menara Rajawali building, which is located next to the Marriott-hotel, hosts six embassy offices, among them the Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish. The building has suffered a power shutdown since the tragegy, forcing offices to stop all activities. But according to authorities these problems will be solved during the next couple of days.
“We are depending on the building’s management,” Anders Backman, an official at the Swedish embassy, said. According to Asiaone.com another official, who declined to be named because he is not authorized to talk to the press, said activities at the embassy will likely return to normal on Tuesday.
