The midsummer garlands were tied, the schnapps on the tables and in true midsummer spirit, the rain was pouring down. But the rain didn’t bother the about 130 midsummer celebrators that gathered in a beautiful set venue in the picturesque French Concession parts of Shanghai.
The caterers had managed to put together an almost authentic Swedish buffet with all the goodies that you would want. The schnapps songs followed each other and when the rain stopped there were even a few laps around the maypole. It was arranged by the committee of the Swedish Young Professionals in Shanghai, which is a subgroup within the Swedish Chamber of Commerce )
