An Exceptional Platform for Danish Industry in China

The House of the Danish Industry Foundation in Beijing, China, which is completed in a few years, is a great representative for future sustainable buildings in China.
 
The House of the Danish Industry Foundation in China will become a significant beacon for Danish industry in the Chinese market. The Danish University Centre in Beijing is a joint project between all eight Danish universities and Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The 8,000 m2 building will contain an auditorium, classrooms, office facilities and guest houses.

”Danish companies have with Industry Foundation House had an exceptional platform to showcase technologies and products. Industry Foundation invites Danish companies to donate products and solutions to the house”, said Marit Hvithamar, Senior Adviser in DI Market Development according to the website of the Confederation of Danish Industry.

Velux Group is also taking part of the project and Michael K. Rasmussen, CMO says:
” The House of the Danish Industry Foundation in Beijing is a grand vision of how Danish technology and architecture can contribute to solve future challenges in sustainable building, also in China.”

Danfoss Heating Solutions, Rockwool and Vestas is also active partners in the project, Green Lighthouse, which is Denmark’s first CO2-neutral public buildings.

In May last year was the largest Chinese business delegation ever to visit Denmark.
Chinese Minister of Commerce, Chen Deming then visited Green Lighthouse.
