The Ambassador participated recently in the Grand opening of DanThai Machinery Co., Ltd., a new Danish investment in Thailand. The new factory is located in Laem Chabang Industrial Estate in Chonburi. The celebration started with a religious Ceremony, where the company and its premises were consecrated. The Board of Director Mr. Niels Nielsen then gave his welcome speech followed by congratulation speeches by the Ambassador and the co-investor IFU. In his speech, the Ambassador congratulated DanThai Machinery in succeeding to set-up this company despite problems caused by the economic crisis in Europe and to have the courage to set-up operations in Thailand with the intention to be a global supplier of high-technology components and equipments. He furthermore expressed his delight to have learned that DanThai Machinery had received excellent service from the Board of Invest (BOI) in Thailand during the whole process.
DanThai Machinery is established in cooperation between Varo Specialmaskiner A/S, IFU, Managing Director Frank Henriksen and Technical Director Karsten Brammer. The company company will produce high quality, high precision machine components in mostly stainless steel and aluminium, but also steel brass and plastic materials.
