SAS Executive Vice President of Airline Strategy and Co-ordination, Mr. Sören Belin, will be in Singapore on June 4 to give a breakfast speech to members and guests of the Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish Norwegian Business Associations in Singapore (SBAS, NBAS and DABS) at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Singapore.
Mr. Belin joined SAS in the 1980s as a consultant. In 1990 he became head of the department responsible for procedures and systems within the sales unit. He was heavily involved in the merger between Linjeflyg and SAS in 1992. Two years later he took up a new role as Deputy Managing Director and head of sales for SAS Swedish operations. Last year he rejoined the SAS Group from the consultancy Carta Booz Allen & Hamilton AB and was appointed Executive Vice President in the SAS Group Management.
His presentation on “Scandinavian Airlines and the future of the airline industy” at the breakfast meeting will bring attendants through many recent changes in the SAS as well as the challenges that he sees ahead.
