The Norwegian Embassy extend the Pilot on Residence Permits has been extended until 12th December 2011.
Earlier this year, the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs met to discuss the possibilities of a six months Pilot Project on handling Residence Permits at a Norwegian Embassy. The plan materialised, and on the 4th of April, the Pilot started in Manila. The aim of the Pilot is to achieve higher efficiency and faster processing times.
So far, almost 700 applications have been handled in the Pilot and the processing times have been very short. The feedback from applicants and sponsors have been very positive, and the Embassy is delighted that it is able to provide better service to the public.
