Norwegian student career day in Singapore

Tons of students showed up at SMU School of Accountancy in Singapore to participate in the annual career day. The event was organized by ANSA, the association of Norwegian Students Abroad in Singapore. 

Thursday 25th of March ANSA Singapore hosted NLDSG2015, a business event for Norwegian students both visiting and living in Singapore.

With more than 300 students eager to learn more about the different businesses and industries, the auditorium was filled to its capacity. The majority of the student are taking a Master degree in Marine Technology, Material Technology and Civil and Environmental Engineering at NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology).

The businesses represented were DNV GL, Statoil, Innovation Norway and ANSA Singapore and ANSA Headquarter. DNV GL and Statoil where both talking about the oil and gas industry, as well as sustainable energy.

Innovation Norway enlightened the audience about how easy it is to start up a business in Singapore – it is rated as the second easiest country to start a business.

After the event finished 10 pm, everyone was transported with buses to 1-Altitude, the highest bar in Singapore with the view from the rooftop at level 63.
