Dane hospitalized after knife attack in Pattaya

A 25-year-old Danish man was hospitalized for stabbing wounds after he was attacked by two European men in South Pattaya in the early hours of 31 January 2014.

According to police, the Dane, identified as Vasily Klausen, was found unconscious because of excessive blood loss on roadside near the entrance to the Royal Cliff Beach Resort.

He was stabbed in the right side of his chest and his left arm, police said.

Klausen was in serious but stable condition. Police have yet to determine the nationality of his assailants and their motives.
