Danish concept ‘Cycling Without Age’ is coming to Singapore

On Saturday, Danish Ole Kassow, founder of Cycling Without Age, will be visiting Shimano Cycling World in Singapore to present a new concept that gives elderly people the opportunity to get a ride around in the city.

Cycling Without Age is coming to Singapore, and its founder Ole Kassow will be at Shimano Cycling World to talk about his experiences and why he started this initiative three years ago.

Ole will also be sharing pictures from a recent long ride from Denmark to Norway with 40 elderly passengers and a bunch of volunteer riders. After the talk, there will be a workshop for potential riders, to learn how to use a rickshaw bicycle.

The concept has become a great success in Denmark, 42 municipalities already bought the special designed bicycles, so volunteers can give elderly people a ride.
