SkyGate Solutions has agreed to sell a 1.8-acre leasehold factory in Bayan Lepas, Penang, to Danish medical device maker Ambu for 61 million DKK, with completion targeted by July 2026. SkyGate Solutions is a Malaysia-based precision engineering and industrial property group, formerly known as Ewein Bhd.

SkyGate said the disposal will free up capital for reinvestment in higher-growth projects. The price was set on a willing-buyer, willing-seller basis reflecting the site’s location; no independent valuation was conducted. SkyGate acquired the factory in April 2017 for roughly 23.3 million DKK.

Ambu, founded in Denmark in 1937, is a global medical technology company best known for single-use endoscopy as well as diagnostic and life-supporting devices.
