Danish Minister: China’s development is remarkable

The Danish Minister for Environment and Food praises China in an interview with a Chinese news media.

The Danish Minister for Environment and Food, Jacob Elleman-Jensen, has given an interview to the state-owned news media Xinhuanet.

According to Xinhuanet, the Minister praised China for lifting people out of poverty:
“Lifting millions of people out of poverty into a life where they have opportunities and real choices, that’s the best thing that has happened to China in the past 40 years”.

Furthermore, Jacob Elleman-Jensen called the country’s reforms and opening-up “remarkable”.

This year marks the 68th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Denmark and China. It is also the 10th anniversary of China-Denmark comprehensive strategic partnership.
