The interest for the Finnish education system remains high in Thailand, writes the Embassy of Finland in Bangkok.
Ambassador Satu Suikkari-Kleven presented the main cornerstones of Finnish education system for participants of a Senior Executive Program for Nation-Building at King Mongut’s Institute of Technology on Wednesday, 19th April.
The cornerstones rest on the principle of providing equal opportunities for high-quality education to everyone, and the idea of lifelong learning. Schools ensure a learning environment which enhances critical thinking and joy of learning, and there are no dead-ends preventing progression to higher levels of education. The ambassador also underlined the high standards of teacher training. The embassy also had great dialogue with the participants.
