Norway and China are the two nations where most people use mobile payments.
Recently, a survey from Merchant Machine has collated facts about mobile payment, also called mobile wallet. The survey looks at usage across countries, ages and different mobile wallets.
A mobile wallet is a virtual wallet that stores payment card information on a mobile device.
The survey found that China and Norway are the two countries where most people use mobile wallets. In the China the number is 47% and in Norway 42%. The average number for the countries is 18%.
At 42% usage, Norway’s mobile wallet usage is higher proportionally in Norway than in any other European nation.
