A delegation consisting of 10 prominent Norwegian architects are visiting China on March 13 to March 22, travelling to Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou. The purpose of the visit is cultural exchange as well as search for business opportunities in China. The program is extensive and consists of a number of seminars, exhibitions as well as visits to leading real estate companies in the various cities.
Promoting Norwegian architecture in China is an all-China initiative with long-term goals, involving all three foreign missions and lead by the Norwegian Consulate General in Guangzhou.
This visit to China follows another visit last fall, where a group of Chinese architects and real estate developers visited Norway. The visit generated a lot of interests for cooperation on both sides, and the Norwegian foreign missions in China will follow-up with a number of activities in this exciting and dynamic field going forward.
