Singapore has retained the world’s most powerful passport for 2025, offering visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 193 destinations worldwide, according to the latest Henley Passport Index.
The new index groups Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden among the passports with the highest levels of travel freedom globally. All four Nordic countries remain in the top band of the ranking with access to more than 185 destinations for short-term travel, business visits and tourism, according to the report.
The Henley Passport Index, which is based on data from the International Air Transport Association, shows that Singapore continues to lead the world in mobility, reflecting the country’s extensive visa-waiver agreements and its strong position in international travel networks. The Nordic countries are placed only a few positions behind Singapore and continue to rank among the most trusted passports for global travel.
For Singaporean travellers heading to the Nordic region, the index confirms the current broad visa-free access to Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden for short-term stays.
