Swedish-inspired food menu in Kuala Lumpur

Premier downtown hotel Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur’s Swedish Executive Chef Tommy Franssila, previously featured in ScandAsia, has together with Executive Sous Chef, Michel Eschmann composed a Chef’s Specials menu as a blend of Swedish and Swiss cuisine.

Served daily from 6 pm at THIRTY8, guests’ taste buds will be tantalised with dishes such as Duck foie gras crème brûlée with poached spring chicken galantine, marinated asparagus as starter: Black Angus beef tenderloin à la “Rydberg” with roasted potato, crispy shallot, soft egg horseradish, mustard cream or Veal wiener schnitzel with Bohemian potato salad as Mains; and Tropical marängswiss as dessert – and many more!

High-ceilinged and with panoramic windows, Thirty8 is located strategically on the 38th floor and comprises of a 360-degree city view, restaurant, bar and lounge, overlooking the Malaysian landmark Petronas Towers.

As the hotel’s signature restaurant Thirty8 comes with show kitchens, live dinner entertainment and vibrant cuisine offering a selection of steaks, seafood, sushi and sashimi.

The special menu is served 21 July until 14 August 2015.
