Today the 17th of September as the latest Scandinavian Ambassador to embrace the social networks as a platform for diplomacy Mikael Hemniti Winther, the Danish Ambassador in Thailand, started tweeting from @DKAMBinThailand.
He will be tweeting about politics, culture and subjects related to Denmark and Thailand.

It is very positive that the Ambassador starts to tweet to the Danish business people and Communities.
I remember for 25 years ago the Danish Ambassador in Beijing was sitting and handwriting letters and reports to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Three secretaries assisted him in typewriting and sending telex. No one was reading the reports.
Today the ambassadors must use all the social medias, but unfortunately many of the ambassadors are not, like Michael Winther, able to do it.
It gives me and I’m sure, the Danish Community great pleasure learning that their Ambassador has started tweeting.
Gregers, please don’t waist people’s time with this kind of stupidity..
