On 23 May the Embassy of Denmark in Hanoi reported on positive results from three Danish supported pilot projects focusing on improving aquaculture condition and water supply in Can Tho province and Ben Tre province.

The Vidatech project aims to introduce Danish aquaculture technology to Vietnam in order to deliver the demanded and needed positive transformation of the aquaculture sector whilst reducing negative environmental impact. The successful project consists of the six Danish companies OxyGuard, DHI, AquaCircle, AKVA Group, RK-Plast and Grundfos Vietnam, which are all engaged in the production of aquaculture equipment.
