The Swedish car manufacturer is owned by the Chinese company Geely and produces the XC60 model in Sweden when its for the European market. But outside Europe and in America it’s produced in China.

This will now come to an end and the conversion has already begun, says Chief Executive Håkan Samuelson to Reuters.

The company in China will still produce the XC60-model for countries outside Europe and America.
