The 17 year old Swede, who killed a 18 year old Thai August 3 in Sa Kaeo, was been released on bail Wednesday afternoon.
The juvenile Observation and Protection Centre in Sa Kaeo confirms the release of the young Swede. The court decided a bail on 30.000 bath, which indicates, that the court believe the Swede’s explanation, that the killing was done in self-defense.
Although the court has released him, he must still be in Thailand for the trial is finally settled. Usually it would take at least eight months, but the police in Sa Kaeo expect the case to be decided in maybe only three months.
Until then the Swede will have to report to the police periodically. First time August 31.
