Fraud for Breakfast

Being exposed to fraud/corruption could be very costly, affect the company brand, and create a negative work environment for the employees. It all depends on what type of fraudulent activity that the company or organization is being exposed to and the person committing the fraud.

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai hosted a breakfast seminar on the topic of Fraud at Radisson Blu Hotel on October 18th, 2012.

Speaker Neal Beatty from company Control Risks was invited to talk to the audience; more than 30 persons from around 20 different companies participated and gained knowledge about the risk of fraud in China. The topics discussed included operational risks, joint ventures and restructuring issues. An overview was given on a topic that is very much a reality for companies operating in China, and it was well received by the audience.
