Mr. Vanhanen is scheduled to meet Chinese PM Wen Jiabaon, Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroy, Singaporean PM Lee Hsien Loong and Malaysian PM Abdullah Badawi.
The meetings follow a private meeting on Wednesday with Thai PM Thaksin. The meeting took place during Vanhanen’s brief stay at Bangkok International while waiting for a connecting flight to Hanoi.
The next ASEM meeting will take place in Finland in fall 2006.
