The Swedish Ambassador to the Philippines Annika Markovic wrote a note on the Swedish Embassy’ website suggesting all Swedish in the Philippines to keep an eye on information about the epidemic avian flu that has been spreading all over South East Asia.
The Ambassador said that she would be grateful if the readers could make this information available to any other Swedish nationals in the Philippines that might not be on the send list of the Swedish Embassy.
