“Denmark is internationally ahead offering digital services and digital signatures, and now Danes abroad can also benefit from this. No matter where in the world Danes are living, they will be able to do their taxes, SU and pensions electronically with a digital signature”, Minister of Science, Helge Sander, says.
So far only Danes with a verified address in Denmark have had the opportunity to get a digital signature, but now Danes living abroad can have the PIN-letter send to the embassy or consulate closest to them and pick up the PIN-letter there by showing their Danish passport. The cost of receiving the letter will be 160 Danish Kroner.
So far 550.000 Danes has received a digital signature.
