Swedish tour operator Fritidsresor is to start selling two-week package tours to the Cambodian seaside resort town of Sihanoukville, beginning in October.
“Earlier we had round trips that covered Cambodia. Now we are taking the next step and launchng real, price-worthy sun and sea package trips,” says Ms. Lottie Knutson, Director Communications and Corporate Citizenship at Fritidsresor.
The first trip is scheduled to leave Sweden 28 October coming through Bangkok with a two-day stopover in Phnom Penh before traveling on to Sihanoukville. Hotel roms offered in Sihanoukville are in the budget, middle and upper middle class price range.
Fritidsresor claims to be the first Nordic tour operator to offer package trips to Cambodia, and will have their own tour guides and other staff posted at Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville.
