Indonesia Condemns Humiliation of Muhammed

The Indonesian government has officially condemned the drawings made by the youth-wing of Danish right-wing party, Dansk Folkeparti. The condemnation was reportedly delivered to Denmark’s ambassador in Jakarta, Mr. Niels Erik Andersen.
     “We have once again delivered a strong condemnation of these Danish drawings,” the spokesman tells the American news agency AP.
     To the Danish ambassador, the spokesman emphasized that Indonesia respects democracy and freedom, but that the world’s most populous Muslim nation will not accept religious insults.
