A 44 years old Swedish tourist was Wednesday 13 December arrested by the Phuket Police for stealing a car and ramming into people, causing injuries and damaging cars.
The Swedish tourist stole a car while parking in front of the convenience store. The owner of the car, Buno Sprugker, alarmed the police which later on set a barricade to stop the hijacker.
When the Swede saw the police, he tried to escape and collided into motorcycles and a minivan. After the incident 4 people were wounded and brought to the hospital.
Finally the police brought out the fire truck to block the road, which succeed because he rammed into the fire truck caused the front tire exploded. He got out of the car and tried to escape again but the police got hold of him this time.
