Lego Festival Event on the International Children’s Day in Hanoi

On Friday 1 June 2007, the Lego Festival Event was held at Thong Nhat Park in Hanoi on the occasion of International Children Day which was hosted by Lego and their agent in Vietnam, Phuong Nga. Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh, the former Vice-President of Vietnam and today the Chairman of The National Fund of Vietnamese Children joined in on the festivities.
More than 1 million bricks were used to build a 117-meter long train carrying 64 carriages representing the 64 cities and provinces of Vietnam. With this train, there was achieved a Vietnamese record for the longest Lego model.
