Denmark to Help Northern Vietnam Assess Environmental Sanitation

The Danish government has pledged nearly 9 million Krone (almost 1.5 million USD) in aid to help Vietnam assess the impacts of environmental sanitation on the health of the local people in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai.
The project received the go ahead by Deputy PM Pham Gia Khiem on July 26, who entrusted the Health Ministry to sign an aid agreement with the donor and be in charge of its implementation.
The fund is part of the Programme for Enhancement of Research Capacity in Developing Countries (ENRECA) launched by the Danish government.
