The Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam ia among other donors that funds a campaign for wearing helmets. As a part of this campaign, music concerts have recently been held to raise awareness about the need for wearing helmets in the traffic.
In relation to the helmet campaign, the Danish Ambassador in Vietnam Mr. Peter Lysholt Hansen has remarked: “Everyone should be aware of the importance of wearing helmets to prevent unnecessary deaths and skull injury. Let’s think of wearing helmet as a basic habit.”
The helmet wearing campaign has been part of the awareness raising and efforts leading to the Government’s recently issued Resolution 32, which demands people to wear helmets all over the country.
