Buddhist monks from Denmark, Norway, France and Switzerland traveled to the small south Swedish community Bara on October 6th to witness the foundation ceremony of a new Buddhist temple there.
“This is a temple for all Buddhists and it means a lot to us that prominent monks from other countries participated in the ceremony,” says Lai Hen Hang, spokesman for the Vietnamese-Buddhist cultural association Thich Tam in southern Sweden.
