Malaysia to link up with Karolynska Institute in Sweden

Malaysia will link up with the world’s largest research centre in Sweden to expand its research in biosciences and biotechnology, Malaysian newspaper The Star reported citing Health Minister Datuk Chua Jui Meng.
According to the health minister, collaboration between Malaysia’s Institute of Medical Research and Karolynska Institute in Sweden will begin next year.
The decision on collaboration was made by the cabinet following Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Mahathir Mohamad’s official visit to Sweden late September.
